Strategic Speaking
Learn how to design a communication moment
before you walk into it.
A 1 or 2-day live workshop for leaders, founders, and experts whose communication needs to move decisions — not just land well. Led by Shivangi Walke and Tanya MFK in Basel.

May 27 & 28
Location
Basel
Format
1-Day or 2-Day

Shivangi & Tanya
You have been in the room.
And still lost it.
The meeting where everything was said and nothing changed. The pitch that got applause but no budget. The discovery call that felt good and then went quiet. The idea your colleague walked away with credit for. You prepared. You delivered. And yet.
Every year this goes unfixed,
something is quietly being lost.
The promotion goes to someone with less expertise and more presence. The promotion committee said "not quite yet" — and you know the work is there, but something in how you occupy the room is not.
The client says "let me think about it" and disappears. You gave them everything they needed to know. But knowing was never the problem — moving them was, and you did not have a system for that.
The idea gets credited to someone else in a meeting you were in, approved when a more senior person says the same thing you said six weeks earlier. This is not an expertise problem. It is a communication design problem.
Most people respond by preparing harder or speaking more confidently. Neither fixes it. The fix is learning to design the moment before you walk into it — and nobody teaches that. Until now.

Three parts. One method.
You leave knowing all three.
Most training teaches one of these. Some teach two. Strategic Speaking connects all three — starting from the outcome.
Outcome Design
Define what you are trying to move — a decision, alignment, momentum — before you write a single word. Most people skip this entirely.
Message Architecture
Structure what you say so it lands with the right people in the right order. Context → Issue → Impact → Invitation.
Embodied Delivery
Deliver with presence, not performance — so the room feels it, not just hears it. Voice, body, nervous system regulation.
What you leave with
Every session is built around a real moment you are facing. You do not practise fictional scenarios. You design the actual thing.
Orientation & outcome mapping
You identify a real high-stakes moment. You define what you are trying to move.
The Strategic Speaking Framework
Outcome → Conditions → Message. Applied live to your own situation in the room.
Message design session
Context → Issue → Impact → Invitation. You build the structure of your communication moment — not slides, the moment itself.
Practice Round 1 + structured feedback
Paired practice. You deliver. Feedback against clear criteria. Revised in real time.
Presence work — grounding and voice
How you show up before the words begin. Grounding, breathing, posture, voice activation.
Live coaching round with Shivangi
Coached in real time on clarity, structure, presence, and the ask.
Integration — your written next step
One designed communication moment. One written commitment: where you will use it and when.
Three more live practice rounds
Each coached. Each refined. Board room, 1:1, and stage formats.
Embodiment work with Tanya MFK
Applied Neuroscience and NLP — voice activation, nervous system regulation, physical presence.
Your personal delivery signature
What makes you compelling in a room — identified and practised until it is yours.

"I didn't create those speaking prompts as interview questions — but she practised her answers so many times, received feedback so many times. Her answers were so much better than other candidates."

"Despite being only a two-month programme, they have really noticed how this changes the way they communicate and the way they behave."

You have probably thought
at least one of these.
"I already communicate well — is this really for me?"
Yes. The room is full of capable, experienced communicators. The gap is not skill. It is that nobody taught you to start with what you need to move and work backwards to the message. That is a different problem from the one most training fixes.
"I've done workshops before and got nothing out of them."
Most training teaches skills in the abstract — fictional scenarios, polite feedback, back to the same patterns. Strategic Speaking is different: you bring a real moment, design it in the room, deliver it with live feedback, and leave with something you use the following week. The structural difference is real situations, expert feedback, and a method you keep — not skills you practise once and forget.
"Doesn't Toastmasters / Dale Carnegie / internal L&D already cover this?"
Those programmes teach delivery. This teaches design — working backwards from the outcome before you build the message. Most people who come here have done other training and still lose rooms they should win. The gap they haven't closed is outcome design. That is the specific gap this fixes.
"Is this right for me as a coach or consultant?"
More so than for anyone. Every discovery call, every introductory conversation is a communication moment that either converts or doesn't. Strategic Speaking gives you the method for designing each one around the outcome you need. The video you leave Day 2 with is a direct business asset most coaches never have.

Common questions
Will one or two days actually change something that has been a pattern for years?
Yes — because the fix is structural, not behavioural. Preparing harder and speaking more confidently are responses to a symptom. Strategic Speaking addresses the cause: you were never given a system for designing a communication moment around an outcome. Once you have the system and practise it against a real moment with live feedback, the pattern breaks. Five cohorts have demonstrated this. That is also why we offer the Day 1 guarantee.
Can my company fund this?
Many past attendees have had their place funded by their company. Download the sponsorship template here — it is written to make that conversation easy for you and frames the investment around the specific output you take back to your role.
What is different about this compared to other communication training?
Most training teaches delivery. Strategic Speaking teaches design — working backwards from the outcome you need to move before you build the message. The cohort is also cross-company, so you get feedback from people outside your context, which is more honest and more useful than feedback from peers inside it.
What if May doesn't work for me?
This is the only Basel cohort planned before end of year. If you have a high-stakes moment coming up in the next six to eight weeks, May is timed well. If not, reach out and we will talk.
What is the difference between Day 1 and Day 2?
Day 1 teaches the full system and you design and deliver one real communication moment. Day 2 adds three more live rounds, Tanya's embodiment work, and ends with an on-camera delivery edited into a video you keep. If you want a video asset for your business or leadership profile — Day 2 is worth it.
Is the investment worth it?
The return is the next specific moment where communication is the variable — a board presentation, a pitch, a promotion case, a discovery call that converts. You design a real moment from your actual situation on the day. The output is something you use the following week.
