before you walk into it.

Format

You don't have a speaking problem.
You have a design problem.
That's what happens when you prepare your talk — but never designed the outcome.
You're not a bad communicator. You prepare. People nod. Sometimes they even applaud. And then nothing changes. The decision still hasn't been made. The team still isn't aligned. The pitch didn't land. The idea you've been pushing for six months is still sitting exactly where it was.
That's not a delivery problem. That's not a confidence problem. That's not a "you need more charisma" problem. Most communication training teaches you how to speak better. None of it asks: what did you actually need to move?
Not a speaking course.
A design system.
Strategic Speaking is not a presentation framework. It is not about becoming more polished. It is about designing communication around a specific outcome — starting before you say a word and running through everything that happens after.
The talk is not the strategy. The talk is one piece of a larger system. Strategic Speaking teaches you to design the whole thing.
That includes what needs to be true before you walk into the room. Who needs to be there. What they need to believe, feel, and understand. The structure of what you say. The moment of the ask. And what happens after the moment ends.
This is what separates people who communicate from people who create movement.
Leaders and experts whose words
need to move things.
- Leaders and executives who need alignment, not just communication
- Entrepreneurs and founders who have one shot to shift a room
- Coaches and advisors whose influence depends on how they show up
- Professionals who are already good communicators — and know something is still missing
- Anyone whose words are meant to create decisions, movement, or change
Two days give you the system.
Day one lets you start it.
Day one is the foundation. Day two is where it becomes yours. We recommend attending both. If your schedule only allows one day, Day one is available as a standalone.
The Strategic Speaking Method
The complete framework. Open to all.
You learn to define your outcome. To design the message architecture that creates that outcome. And the follow-through. You leave with a new way of thinking about every important communication you have.
What you design on Day One: One real communication moment — a board presentation, a pitch, a difficult conversation — from outcome through to delivery. You practise it. You receive feedback. You revise it. You leave with something you use.
Application and Implementation
Recommended. Deeper practice + video.
You bring a real situation — a presentation, a conversation, a pitch, a decision you need to move. You work it through using what you built on Day One.
What you leave with: Something built. Not just learned. Three more live practice rounds. Embodiment work with Tanya MFK — presence, voice, nervous system. A professionally edited video of your final delivery — pitch asset, speaker reel, or client introduction. Most coaches never have one.

Common questions
Will one or two days actually change something?
Yes — because the fix is structural. Preparing harder is a response to a symptom. Strategic Speaking addresses the cause: you were never given a system for designing a communication moment around an outcome. Once you have it and practise it against a real situation with expert feedback, the pattern breaks. Five cohorts. Same result.
What is different about this compared to other communication training?
Most training teaches delivery. Strategic Speaking teaches design — working backwards from the outcome before you build the message. The cohort is also cross-company, so you get feedback from people outside your own context. More honest. More useful.
Can my company fund this?
Many past attendees have had their place funded. Download the sponsorship template here — written to make that conversation easy for you.
What is the edited video?
A professionally edited 3–5 minute video of your final delivery. Corporate leaders use it for their leadership profile. Coaches and consultants use it as a client-facing introduction or speaking reel. The most concrete business asset you leave with.
What if May doesn't work?
This is the only Basel cohort before end of year. If you have something high-stakes coming in the next six to eight weeks, May is timed well. Reach out if you want to talk it through.
