Curating Your Leadership Brand

At the heart of this program is the process of crafting your Leadership Brand. This involves a deep dive into your leadership narrative, identifying what sets you apart—your core strengths and unique value proposition. I help you to identify how you uniquely create value by getting crystal clear on your story, and your leadership narrative - identifying your vision, where you are going, and what you fighting for.

The goal is to enable you to succinctly communicate your leadership essence across various formats: from a compelling two-minute elevator pitch to a longer presentation as relevant. This versatility ensures you are prepared to articulate your leadership brand in any context, making a lasting impact.

My six-month Leadership Brand one-on-one coaching engagement is designed to help you to curate and also strengthen your Leadership Brand. We will begin with an in-depth analysis leveraging custom-designed identity questionnaires. This initial diagnosis lays the groundwork for a comprehensive exploration of your vision, strengths, and areas ripe for development. Usually, I also work with a psychometric and leverage on those insights to complement these questionnaires. I am Hogan certified and we can use that report.

My background & philosophy

I became a leader of leaders in my early 30s in a foreign country where I did not look, think or behave like the majority. I have often been the youngest member of leadership teams and most of the times the only woman. This gives me a unique perspective when dealing with under-represented leaders.

I am driven to help those who, like me, will have to overcome invisible barriers in order to succeed.

And ideally enjoy the ride.

I believe that the biggest contributor to sustained success for any leader is a sense of meaning and purpose. Sometimes leaders, fall into the trap of portraying themselves as something they're not. They fall into the trap of expectations placed on them.

Expectations around being a good manager, a well liked and popular leader and biases that this 'leadership image' perpetuates.. The ‘noise’ from these expectations means they don’t know what gives them joy and what makes them come alive.

This is where working with me has helped my coachees to have the biggest breakthroughs. Because once you know who it is you really are and what is the work that makes you come alive, you can start living a Life of Abundance.

About Shivangi

Shivangi Walke is an experienced coach and a senior talent management and organizational development practitioner. She regularly designs leadership development interventions, consults and coaches senior teams, and conducts worldwide executive programs and workshops.

Prior to establishing her own coaching and leadership development practice, Shivangi gained over 2 decades of experience in diverse industries: Reinsurance, Pharmaceuticals, Agrochemicals, Manufacturing & Professional Services. Her cross-functional experience ranges from talent management to business development and from HR to consulting.

Differentiating Shivangi is her ability to bring both the soft (purpose,people, process) and hard (strategy, structure, systems) perspectives together to address real business needs. Her initial training as an engineer followed by her post graduation in HR and more-recently in Organization Development positions Shivangi uniquely to support the development of functional managers in their development journey towards becoming engaging people leaders.

Shivangi founded the non-profit ThrivewithMentoring in December 2017 which has catalyzed around a 1500 one-on-one mentoring relationships 10 countries across 4 continents in the last 6 years.
